Tired of replacing worn-out sneakers, man gets ‘Nike’ shoes tattooed on his feet

A man who grew tired and irritated of replacing his worn-out sneakers got his favourite ‘Nike’ trainers tattooed onto his feet as a ‘permanent solution’.
The man’s bid to save money took him to South African tattoo artist Dean Gunther.
The 34-year-old, who owns tattoo studio DG Tattoo Art, in Manchester, had previously gone viral after inking a realistic-looking six-pack onto a man’s stomach. This time, he drew some Nike trainers’ onto his client’s feet in about ten hours. Gunther took 2 hours to draw the outlines and about 8 hours to colour it.
“I wanted to create the illusion that the person is wearing shoes, even though he’s bare feet. It will definitely make you look twice. Drawing the tattoo on my free hand was the most challenging part. I had to make sure everything flows with the contours of the body. Vasque Shoes  A stencil would not work in this case, so it’s all freehand,” Gunther told NeedToKnow.
The tattoo artist said the client was tired of paying for new shoes and decided to get his favourite pair of Nikes tattooed on him.
Guther shared the Nike work on TikTok and earned more than 10k views in a short time.
Netizens had mixed reactions to the tattoo.
A user wrote, “Wow, brave man [to do] both feet.”
“They’ll last you forever,” wrote another.
Last year, a Columbian influencer got a QR code tattooed on the back of his neck that was meant to open his Instagram page. But he soon admitted that the code didn’t work.
Mauricio Gomez, popularly known as La Liendra, had posted a video o February 15, showing how the QR code apparently worked.
While many netizens were stunned by the stunt, others said that the tattoo made them feel uncomfortable. One user said, “I don’t like it, he looks weird.”
It was later reported that the QR code didn’t really work.
