Outdoor gear, with the rise of GORPCORE, Newly Jordans is no longer used for its intended purpose. Just browse IG’s Explore page and you’ll find quite a few Arc’teryx jackets and trail shoes that are more of a fashion statement than a utility item. While Nike ACG’s latest offering strikes a nice balance between the two, we’ll soon see their Mountain Fly Low GTX SE debut this year. While primarily paired in “Hazel Rush,” the colorway still incorporates louder, high-definition tones. The lace as well as the Swoosh, ACG and GORE-TEX branding are highlighted in vibrant orange, for example, to contrast with the black and brown underneath. The grey midsole also deviates, plus its neutral-spotted signature lineup.
Sean Wasserspoon has a career that many people can only dream of. In addition to the second-round empire he helped build, the Virginian has brought his footwear ideas to life with the help of some industry giants, including Adidas. Latest Jordan 2020 Wasserspoon uses the Adidas EQT Support 93 in his latest Super-Earth creation. Similar to much of the designer’s previous work, the single unit of the upcoming Three Stripes project maintains a fairly simple color palette. This choice allows the redesigned upper arrangement to enjoy itself in the spotlight: a scaly black mesh reveals a purple textile base, while a durable nylon panel sits on the material in the forefoot. The reinforcement is immersed in the aforementioned purple hue from mid-foot to mid-foot, while the embroidered flowers found in past Super-Earth products appear on the outer heel in shades of red and pink. The side 3-stripes opt for a ruby-colored look, while the plastic lace loops along the tongue boast a rainbow of colors; the lacing is inspired by trail shoes as it features a speed-switching option. As indicated by the Super Earth logo, the shoe contains no animal ingredients and does not use any virgin products to promote sustainability.
As the Nike Dunk Low enters the new year, it’s already outfitted with a plethora of traditional and modern suits. In the latter’s latest creation, Swoosh features the model’s “Scrap” in jade, tan and red, a service offered by the “Formless, Shapeless, Limitless” collection. Nike Shoes for MenAlready with the Air Force 1 Low and Air Max Pre-Day, the upcoming capsule appears to be taking inspiration from Eastern philosophies and designs. The updated, partially upgraded construction of the Nike Dunk fits nicely into the collection’s border-denying theme, with the aforementioned hues taking over the casually shaped fabric and textile panels of the upper. The rainbow-shaped pattern lands on the swirls on the side, and the heel cover on the side is adorned with three different shapes of jade. Underfoot, the sole unit reminiscent of the Air Jordan 1 also indulges in a rich green hue, although it does so through a translucent sole.
