You can’t think of country music without thinking of Dolly Parton. The multitalented singer, songwriter, actor, philanthropist, record producer, entrepreneur, and author has entertained audiences for the better half of a century. The Grammy Award-winning artist first appeared on the Grand Ole Opry stage when she was only 13 years old. Since then, she has impressed fans with not just her lyrics but also her bubbly, larger-than-life persona.

Parton is famous for her voluptuous figure, big hair, bigger heart, and rhinestone-studded wardrobe. Many people don’t realize the “Here You Come Again” singer is not only small in stature but also has the shoe size to match.

The Country Music Hall of Fame credits Parton with revolutionizing “the world of country music for women performers.”

Born in 1946 in Locust Ridge, Tennessee, Parton has 11 siblings.Oofos Canada  At the age of 5, she wrote her first song. And today, with more than 100 million record sales, she has earned 51 Grammy Award nominations, 11 wins, and the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Parton has recorded 25 number-one country hits, with seven of her albums topping the country charts. The “I Will Always Love You” singer has enjoyed a long-lasting career and continues to reinvent herself. She recently launched a line of cake mixes with Duncan Hines and wrote a book, Run, Rose, Run, with acclaimed author James Patterson.

In addition, the Steel Magnolias actor has received a Kennedy Center Honor, a National Medal of Arts, and seven Academy of Country Music Awards.
